Hi, I’m Kathy Raines, a birth doula serving Northwest Arkansas since 2003.

As a DONA trained and certified doula and ICEA certified Childbirth Educator, as well as a mother of seven, I bring years of personal and professional experience to my practice. When we meet, I will listen to get to know your goals for your birthing experience. I can help you formulate a birth plan and share resources and evidence-based information to prepare you for the big day.

On Birth Day, I will be a calm and reassuring presence providing continuous support throughout your labor and delivery. My goal is to help you achieve the healthiest, most satisfying outcome possible. Whether you choose a hospital, birthing center, home birth, epidural assisted birth or C-section, I will honor your choices and amplify your voice to be heard. I am committed to you!

On a personal note…

I’m married 39 years to the love of my life; Momma to seven wonderful children, and Gigi to twelve beautiful grandchildren.

I love being in nature. When the weather is nice you can find me hiking on the trails, digging in my flower garden, biking with my grands or sharing a laugh and good conversation in one of the many wonderful coffee shops around NWA.

Flowers, music, and art feed my soul and enrich my life.
